It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas-for OWH anyways

One of the hardest parts (at least for me) of making cards for OWH is the holiday deadlines.  Those deadlines are the reason I stick to general cards.  But I do love Christmas all year round.  Plus, without air conditioning, I'm baking in our apartment, so I've got some winter wishes.  I've made a few winter cards, but here's my favorite:

Paper-DCWV, Rub-ons and ribbon-American Crafts, Die cuts and embellishments-Provo Craft, Image-Whoopsi Daisy

I love the dancers on Whoopsi Daisy's sheet 3.  They remind me of Nutcracker ballerinas.  I also love how the peppermint candy turned out.  It was part of a border.  I had to get creative to fix the plastic wrapper.  I took out the neighboring paper candy and used it's wrapper to complete this one's.

Whoopsi Daisy-anything goes
Meme's Crafts-use red
Celebrate the Occasion-Christmas cards

Bonus card!  It's super simple, but I love the image.

  6. Thank you so much for what you are doing to support our troops. Your dedication and creativity is completely appreciated!! Your cards are just terrific. The first one, I love that division of color and the cluster of elements looks wonderful. I know OWH doesn't like "bulky" cards, so I really like that you've added gorgeous visuals and met the criteria for them too. The second Snow card is fantastic! I can't wait for snow!! I say that now..ask me when I've been shoveling for 5 days straight...LOL.

Thank you so much for taking the time to link up your talent and creative ideas with us at Make It Monday!
    Happy Crafting...
