MPC Create with Cutters Wednesday #119

Good morning!  It's Wednesday which means that it is time for My Paper Crafting's Create with Cutters Challenge.  This week's theme is "Chilly Celebrations."  Create a celebration card with a winter theme.  You can join the fun HERE.  I chose to make a birthday card using the Create a Critter cartridge.

Supplies:  Cricut Cartridge-Create a Critter, Paper-Provo Craft and All My Memories

I'm a sucker for foxes especially arctic foxes.  It is such an obsession, that I won't let my husband "hunt" foxes when he plays Assassin's Creed 3.  I'm also very obsessed with owls and cats.  Apparently animals are my thing.

Do any of you have an obsession when it comes to scrapping?

MPC Digi Dessert Fridaze

Hi folks!  It's time for MyPaperCrafting.com's Digi Dessert Fridaze link up.  Link up with a project that uses a digital image for a chance to win a free image from My Papercrafting World.  Use a MPCW image and you get entered twice!  Wahoo!  Don't have any images?  Go HERE for today's freebie and link up challenge.

I made a card using "Raccoon with Snowball" which you can find HERE.  Isn't he just the cutest raccoon?!  I can't get over his adorable face.  It's so cute, that I used the same image for another card that you'll see next week.

I used Microsoft Word to zoom in on the raccoon and flipped the image so he faced different ways.  I then printed three copies of the raccoon (one smaller and flipped) and colored them the same.  The label was also made in Word using a text box.  Super simple and fun (I got my coloring fix).  Be sure to join in the fun at MyPaperCrafting.com this week.

For a Friend

One of my former coworkers is going through a rough patch in life, so I thought I'd let her know that I care by sending a card.  I was snowed in yesterday and had new stamps, so it was the perfect day to spend on crafting.  Here's her card:

Supplies Used:  Stamps-There She Goes, Brads-Making Memories, Paper-Chatterbox

I love how peaceful it looks.  I'm also jealous of the girl playing in flowers; it's bitterly cold here!

My hubby's been working so hard lately.  He took a second job and is trying so hard to earn some money that we can put away for a house soon.  I appreciate him so much, but sometimes I don't think that I tell him enough.  So I made him a card and hid it in his coat pocket so he'd find it at work today.

I was inspired by the straight lines and orange color in this picture:

And here's the card:

I was originally going to stick with penguins and orange bars, but I love that cute little fish from TAWS's Castaways set and the sentiment was perfect for my husband.  I used white ink to stamp the bubbles and watermark ink to stamp the seaweed.

Thanks for dropping by!

My Papercrafting World's CWC #116

It's My Papercrafting World's Crafting with Cutter's challenge!  Visit HERE for the details.  This week's challenge is a service project-making Valentine's for Sandy Hook Elementary students.  I used the Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge to make a rockin' boy Valentine.

Supplies:  Paper-DCWV and Coordinations, Embellishments-Making Memories, Cutter-Cricut (Hannah Montana)

I am really digging the glossy black guitar.  This is the first time I've ever used this cartridge, but I must say-it's pretty sweet.  Rock on crafters!
