Just some card fun

I have been loving spring break this week!  Since I can't really walk, I'm taking advantage of spending all my time crafting.  I'm trying to fill the last of a box that I'm sending to OWH.  I have a habit of bulky cards, but they're asking for flat cards for easier mailing, so this is a chance for me to practice that too.

First, I used my favorite stamps (TAWS) and a paper-pad that has been sitting unused for a year.

Supplies Used:  Stamps-The Alley Way Stamps (Crazy Critters and Sittin Pretty), Paper-DCWV

And of course I had to use a digi colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS
Supplies Used: Image-Deviant Art, Stickers-K&Co, Paper-Provo Craft

The digi is a freebie which you can find HERE.  Thanks for dropping by my blog this week!

CWC #128-Rain

Ready to Craft With Cutters this week at My Paper Crafting?  I've been so excited to show this project to you-it's been ready for 2 weeks.  This week's theme is
Rain
I'm on week #8 on crutches.  Which has been extremely frustrating.  And it has made working with my Cricut (which is stored on the top shelf) very hard.  But I kept thinking about (and wiser-than-me people kept telling me) "Without the rain, there's no rainbows."  Rainbows have blessed my life lately, so I'm grateful for this experience (but am excited for it to end!).

Here's a rainbow for you.  I used the Create a Critter cartridge to make the cloud tag (it opens to show the quote above) and the digi stamp is called Bear-Rainy-Day from Paper Crafting World.  You can by it for a dollar (yes $1! Love their inexpensive digis!) HERE.

I just bought some blender stubs, so I sterilized their wrapper and used it to hold the Skittles.  The top tag part of the packaging is what I anchored the bear on.  Trying to decide who to give it to-it's sure to make anyone smile.

CYP #156-Onesies

Are you ready for a harder challenge this week at Craft Your Passion?  Last week's challenge (make it cute) was so easy for me.  This one stretched me a bit.  It is a
Recipe and Sketch Challenge

Here's the sketch:
And the recipe is: 1 image, 1 sentiment, 1 patterned paper, and 1 embellishment.

I went a little vintage with my card this week
Supplies: Paper-Cosmo Cricket, Flower-Prima, Image-Digital Paper Craft, Stamp-Hero Arts, Punch-Martha Stewart Crafts

I love that lacy punch.  When I saw the thin strip on the sketch, I knew that's what I wanted to use.  The flower really is printed like that.  It's not paper so hopefully the rest of DT team doesn't consider that cheating-LOL

Be sure to link up to Craft Your Passion.  And check out what the rest of the DT team did-their projects are fabulous!
