GAAA! A day late on posting my card for this week's Craft Your Passion.  So sorry.  The theme this week is 

Make It Cute  

No excuses on not linking up, ladies.  This is a easy one.  Here's my card, using the image "Frog N Flower" from 2 Cute Ink.

I've been wanting to try to do an ombre card for a while now.  (I also really want to try some ombre nails-but felt safer sticking to paper and ribbon than fingernail polish.)  Be sure to join in the fun at Craft Your Passion this week.

MPC Crafts with Cutters #126

I have not made a CWC project for over a month!  Why?  Well, this has been a super rough month and I've been recovering from a serious injury.  Ugg...  I'm glad to finally be crafting again and excited to share my Cricut projects with you.  This week's challenge theme is Spring.  Perfect, because today is the first official day of spring.  I used the "Hannah Montana" cartridge.  I've never really used it before, but it's quickly becoming a favorite.  It has both punky and pretty images and some really fun fonts.

It's a new week.  I'm counting down until spring break-2 weeks away!  I'm wondering if I'm even more excited than my students are.

This week's challenge at Craft Your Passion is use ribbons or lace on your project.  I used a lace border punch to make paper lace.

The image is from this week's sponsor-Sugar-Laced-Cottage.  Isn't she cute?!  I attempted a new technique that I read about on Splitcoast Stampers-that used watercolor paper and a aquapen, but my printer ink bled a bit when I applied water.  It's ok for the most part because it added shadows to her dress, but I need to practice a bit more.  Any advice on keeping ink from bleeding would be appreciated.

CYP #153-2 Colors

Ready to stretch your creativity this week?  Craft Your Passion has a new challenge, and this time the theme is use only 2 colors. You can use different shades of the same color, but 2 colors total.   It definitely stretched my brain.  I used red and blue.

CYP #152-oddness all around

What a bad week it's been!  I'm actually relieved to start a new week today.  A fresh start is definitely needed.  I needed some craft therapy and Craft Your Passion's weekly challenge offered that.  This week's theme is 

That's Odd-use an odd number of embellishments

The DT was given quite a bit of free reign with this challenge.  But after my bizarre card, I'm not sure we'll get that again.  I took odd to a whole new level:

Paper-Recollections, Embellishments-American Crafts, Flower-Flora Doodles, Image-The Alley Way Stamps

It was fun to get a little wild with this card-and certainly needed after such a chaotic few days.  I got to use one of my favorite stamps from The Alley Way Castaways set.  I just love that fish's silly expression, pretty much sums up how I've felt lately.  Be sure to check out the rest of the design team's creations and join the fun at Craft Your Passion this week.
